Would you keep it if you had some assistance? If so, we might be able to help.
If there are children in the home, what lesson are you teaching them? If pets are disposable, are family members also?
If your boyfriend or girlfriend wants you to get rid of your cat, what else will he ask you to give up? Family, friends?
Are those allergies real? Have you actually seen an allergic reaction? How severe is the allergy? Has the person tried medication?
Think about it before you decide.
